BCM Georgia | November 2023

IMPACT Report: FY24:Q1

As a nonprofit housing organization, we serve 800 households annually. Across our three programs focused on eviction prevention, family stability, and financial education, we've celebrated many victories this year – but there's more work to be done.

Read messages from our new President and CEO Shirley Anne Smith and from our Board Chair Roy F. Jenkins III.

Emergency Housing Assistance

Her whole life turned upside down when she stopped working due to health concerns. April wasn't sure whether she'd be able to remain in her home of 16 years as she continued to fall behind on her mortgage payments.

Then, she was accepted into BCM's Emergency Housing Assistance program.

"I'm happy to say the process was quick and easy," she said. "Not only was I able to keep my home; I was also able to keep up my mortgage payments."

GivingTuesday is November 28: Will you give?

Join Georgia's largest generosity movement!

Did you know? In 2023, Metro Atlanta alone filed more than 72,000 evictions.

Giving Tuesday is when we all come together on a single day with the single mission to give back. We are a proud participant of GAgives on GivingTuesday.

With your help, we can create more compassionate communities where everyone has both a home and the opportunity to thrive.
