We do that by EXPERIENCING, EMBRACING, AND EXTENDING

God's love.

There are three ways to give to the mission of Christ Church:

you can mail in your pledge, give online, or text GIVE to (850) 403-6673.

New Adult Christian Education Offerings

beginning Sunday, September 10!

8-plus — A casual time of conversations and coffee following the 8 AM service. Each week we will look at one foundational aspect of our faith. This offering will be held in the Parlor.

Foundations — A new adult formation opportunity at 9:30 AM. This will be an opportunity in which we look at the foundations of our faith. Each week we will hear from voices in our tradition and each other. This same curriculum will be used in two separate classes:

Foundations for Families  led by Fr. Michael in the Library.

Foundations – led by Rev. Katie in the Parish Hall.

Adult Christian Education Offering

"Bad Girls of the Bible: And What We Can Learn from Them"

Sundays ~ 9:15 AM ~ Rm. 31 of Education Bldg. or by Zoom link here

Meeting ID: 878 4884 3240 Password: 510649

This book ends with examination of Michal, King David’s first wife, and the unnamed woman who washed Jesus’ feet with her tears and dried them with her hair. They both experienced emotional abuse by family and society. But this abuse produced profoundly different results for their spiritual lives.

Favor House Learning Kitchen Amazon Drive

Christ Church is supporting Favor House in providing a new learning kitchen for the children and women survivors of domestic violence. Favor House has created an Amazon wish list of items for their new family education center kitchen. To donate, click here. Please contact Rev. Katie with any questions.

Montclair Elementary Uniform Drive

As part of Christ Church's Community Outreach, we support Montclair Elementary with needs throughout the school year. Children at the school need clean uniforms on a daily basis. The uniform closet is bare, and we can help fill it! The uniform shirts are any navy or white polos, and the uniform bottoms are any khaki or navy shorts or pants. All sizes are needed 5 (youth small) through 12 (youth large). If you would like to help with this need, you may either (1) purchase these items at local stores like Target or Walmart and drop off at the church labeled Montclair Elementary; (2) use this Amazon link and purchase items to be delivered to the church; or (3) write a check to Christ Church with Montclair uniforms in the memo line. For questions, please click here.

Bridging the Gap

Our neighbors without homes are in great need of new or used clothes (especially men’s), socks, washcloths, and toiletries – including bars of soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, disposable razors, hand sanitizer, and hand cream. Donations can be left in the boxes labeled 'Bridging the Gap' in the back hallway of the church offices. Please click here for more information on how to help.

UPCOMING DIOCESAN EVENTS

ALTAR FLOWER DEDICATIONS

Each week our worship service is enhanced with beautiful fresh flowers. After the Sunday services, the altar flower arrangements are reworked into smaller arrangements. These arrangements are delivered to members of our parish family that are unable to attend a Sunday service. The altar flowers are a memorial, a thanksgiving for an anniversary, a birthday, a new birth, or a thanksgiving for God's blessings. The donation is listed in the weekly bulletin. Forms to participate in this ministry are available here and on the information table in the Parish Office.

CARE IN COMMUNITY

Christ Church is here for you. There are many ministries to love and support the people who are the church. If you are interested in assisting with staying connected to our church family, please email Rev. Katie or call her at the Parish Office, 850-432-5115. It is easy to feel alone or disconnected, so reach out to one of the priests or someone at the church to say hello. Contact Rev. Katie if you or anyone you know has any needs. If you have a pastoral emergency, please call our pastoral care emergency line to speak directly with one of the priests: (850) 462-5137.
