On July 10th, Rainey Institute gathered board members, public officials, and funders at a groundbreaking ceremony for our new location at the Pivot Center for Art, Dance, and Expression. When construction is complete in late fall, Rainey’s programs will increase arts opportunities for youth on Cleveland's West Side. Currently, youth in Clark-Fulton and the surrounding area have a great need for out-of-school time music opportunities. Rainey’s popular mastery-based orchestral music program, El Sistema, will be the first program to launch in the new location. Other programs will soon follow including pre-school arts, teen programs, and summer camp.
