United Way announces over $1.7 million investment in Martin County
As part of our $1.7 million impact in the community, United Way of Martin County presented 44 Community Impact Grants totaling $898,497 in funding for the upcoming year. Thirty-two agencies will use the funds awarded to implement local programs aimed at improving education, health and financial stability for Martin County residents. Grants were presented at the Big Reveal sponsored by Capstone IT.

The diverse list of programs includes child literacy programs, addiction recovery, mental health services, free meal programs, supportive housing, community health care and more.

New Resource: Martin County Food Finder Map
For Martin County residents struggling to put food on the table, a new resource is available โ€“ the Martin County Food Finder Map. Created by a Students United volunteer, the map indicates where free meals are available including food pantries, soup kitchens, food for seniors and food for children.
