Healthy Aging Challenge

Applications Due February 24th!

The Massachusetts eHealth Institute at MassTech (MeHI) is seeking digital health startups from across the U.S. to compete in the Healthy Aging Challenge. The first Challenge in the Massachusetts Digital Health Sandbox Challenge Program is aimed at finding unique digital health solutions that improve the lives of older adults and help them remain active, productive, independent, and socially connected.


Up to eight finalists will be selected to participate in the program and compete for prizes worth up to $200,000. Selected entrepreneurs will participate in a two-month, virtual introduction to the Massachusetts digital health ecosystem program.

Innovations in Caregiving Webinar

In December, MassTech's Chief Investment Strategist and Program Executive, Ben Linville-Engler, moderated a discussion with MIT's Sheng-Hung Lee about innovations in healthy aging and caregiving. Lee used his latest research works and designs at MIT AgeLab to demonstrate how designers apply Human-Centered System Design (HCSD) and service design methodologies to solve systematic and complicated design challenges for an aging population. Lee also demonstrated his design process with three selected case studies across product design, service innovation, and user experience to discuss product-service innovation in the era of socioeconomic transformation.

Entrepreneurship for All is hosting a Social Impact Pitch Contest on Thursday, May 1, 2023 from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm in Salem, Mass. The contest will help early-stage entrepreneurs gain valuable exposure and feedback.
