Join us for Worship at 8:30, 9:45 or 11:11 AM this Sunday | |
We look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday at our normal service times of 8:30, 9:45, and 11:11 AM.
Kids Ministry will have their annual 'Pop-Tarts, Praise & PJs' event at the 9:45 hour only. All elementary-aged kids are encouraged to wear their favorite pair of pajamas as we munch on some yummy pop-tarts while learning our last Bible lesson of the year.
YTH Ministry will resume on Sunday, Jan. 7.
ABF classes may meet this Sunday, though some groups may have chosen to take a holiday break. Please check with your ABF leader to verify if your class will be meeting this Sunday.

If you think you might wait until the last minute to make a tithe or offering, please note the following:
Mailed donations must be postmarked no later than Saturday, Dec. 30.
Hand-delivered donations must be in the office no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, Dec. 29.
Online donations must be done before midnight on Sunday, Dec. 31.

The building will be closed on Monday, January 1, for New Year's Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 2. We will meet for worship at our normal times of 8:30, 9:45, and 11:11 AM on Dec. 31.

The Kids Ministry invites all of our preschool-age friends and their caregivers to join us for a Preschool Fun Day on Monday, January 15 (MLK day) from 9:00 to 11:00 AM!
We will have an inflatable bounce house and slide for the kids, along with other large gross motor items to have tons of fun during these cold and dreary times. Preschool friends, feel free to bring your trikes and scooters as well! We will gather in the Family Life Center and donuts and juice boxes will be provided.

Women's Bible Study: New Testament Women |
Knowing about Jesus isn’t what changes us. It is our relationship with Him that transforms us.
Beginning January 16, the Women’s Ministry will look at six well-known women in the New Testament whose lives were transformed by Jesus: Mary Magdalene; the woman at the well; Mary (the mother of Jesus); Martha; Mary of Bethany; and the bent woman. Join us as we explore how their relationship with Jesus changed their lives deeply and profoundly. We will be studying their experiences to help us draw closer to our Savior as we gain insight from God’s Word.

This six-week study, New Testament Women: Transformed by Jesus, will meet every Tuesday at 7:00 PM (January 16), Thursday at 9:30 AM (January 18), and Thursday at 7:00 PM (Zoom). There is no cost for this study, and registration has begun!

DivorceCare is a group of friendly, caring people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. DivorceCare offers valuable resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.
You don’t have to go through it alone.
Our next session of DivorceCare will meet every Wednesday, Jan. 17 to Apr. 17, from 6:45-8:30 PM. Feel free to email the DivorceCare Ministry Leader, Mileah Hamulak, if you have any questions.

Every year on Super Bowl Sunday, we partner with Lifeline Christian Mission to pack over 100,000 meals to send to hungry, poverty-stricken children. To do that, we need 224 volunteers per hour on the morning of Sunday, February 11. That's over 700 volunteers that are needed!
This church-wide event is affectionately called the ‘Hunger Bowl.’
While a lot of people are obviously needed to make Hunger Bowl a success, the work required is fairly simple and easy, making it a great service opportunity for Elementary-age children, teenagers and/or adults of any age!

Meal packing times are 8:30, 9:45, 11:00 AM, 12:15 and 1:30 PM on Sunday, February 11. Our most popular meal pack times are 9:45 and 11:00 PM, so if you want to participate then you will need to register early. Gloves and hairnets will be required and are provided. | | |

We are collecting 15,000 Bibles for the Bibles for Africa Project with the South African Christian Mission (SACM) and Hearts of Hope Christian Ministries (HOH).
If you would like to donate a new or gently used Bible, a black bin will be available in the Atrium for English-language Bibles. (NIV, ESV, HCSB, and NLT translations preferred.) These Bibles will be shipped to Cape Town for free distribution throughout South Africa, Kenya, and southern Africa.
Please donate a new or gently used English or French-language Bible this Sunday!

Worthington Resource Pantry | |
We want to follow Jesus together and part of that is being a good neighbor. How can we accomplish that? By doing what we can to meet the needs of a neighbor in crisis. Therefore, we will continue to support the Worthington Resource Pantry for the foreseeable future.
