Oct. 23rd is our last regular season home game and Homecoming at Valley Stadium.

It's a tradition that players will be announced individually prior to the start of each game. Parents should plan to be on the field for the pre-game announcements to receive a flower and gift from their player.

Great weekend of flag games last week, with our makeup last Thursday and our regularly scheduled game on Saturday. It definitely felt like fall football weather.

This Thursday is our last practice night due to darkness. Please keep an eye out for an email and/or the website on Thursday afternoon as the weather is not looking great. We will make the call by 5pm.

Game on Sat AM is 9AM at the Middle School and will be Black vs. White // Gray vs. Blue. We'll have the Black team wear Blue and the Gray team wear white.

The cheer team is selling bundt cakes for $25/ cake. Sales end on October 13th.

GVBL 2022-2023 Winter Rec League Has Arrived!

Registration for GVBL Winter Rec League is open. This will be our 22nd year of bringing the GV community this outstanding youth basketball program.

Once again due to the limited amount of gym space, the GVBL Winter Rec League will be open to ONLY GVSD residents with limited spots per division. GVBL will once again offer divisions for girls and boys in grades 1-8 and a boys HS division.

The Junior Hoopsters program for 4-5 year olds will open in late October.

The program includes the business or corporate sponsor name featured on the jerseys of one of our 75+ youth basketball teams, along with multiple "touch points" throughout the season on our numerous GVCO communiqués (website, newsletters, updates, social media, etc.). Complete and return the required shirt sponsorship form by October 24th.

All current and new members should sign up for the 2022-2023 Caring Hands email list. Caring Hands newsletters and event updates will be sent via Constant Contact to the submitted email address(es) for both parent and student.
