Vintage eBay Scout Auctions This Weekend
For probably the first time ever I have both kids working for me at this moment in the warehouse. Sophia is ironing neckerchiefs and Patrick is photographing OA jacket patches. I am taking Stephen Perrone's advice and treating them to tacos here shortly as I want to be able to remember the first (and last?) time I got both of them here on the same day.
Yesterday I went live for about 30 minutes on Facebook in my Patreon group the Scouting Hot Finds Insiders. I got in a small box that had some teens era combo ranks and WWI medals that I was excited to add to my collection. I also shared lots of details of changes I'm making for 2024. If you want to find out more about how you can get this behind the scenes content visit ScoutingHotFinds.com.
On eBay I have 158 live auctions running on camp patches and some Philmont pieces. This is probably not a good time to try and get someone to jump up and bid but I have a schedule and an algorithm to feed.
One of the first things I'll be fixing over the holiday break is updating my TOR calendar. I've decided that in 2024 instead of just mailing out individual fliers in my eBay orders that I will create (and keep updated) a 1-page sheet that has all the TORs. I think a simple spreadsheet format with the key information will be a good mailer and then they can go find the PDF on my site or Brian's to get the rest of the story.
