CAL CHAMBER ON SB 1162 - NEW LAW |
|
|
|
On September 27, 2022, Governor Gavin Newsom signed SB 1162, which requires employers to make pay scales available to job applicants and employees as well as expands California’s pay data reporting requirements. Employers should review the new requirements and begin preparing to comply with the changes for 2023. |

CHAMBER & UCAN's UPDATE ON AB 257 |
|
|
|
As enacted, AB 257 establishes a 10-member “Fast Food Council” whose members will be appointed by the Governor, the Speaker of the Assembly, and the Senate Rules Committee.
The UCAN Chambers, including The El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce, have joined the Save Local Restaurants Coalition. Please watch for details how you can support the signature gathering effort to repeal AB 257.
