Panel Discussion with Four Jewish Pro-Life Women!
✡︎ Shabbat Shalom ✡︎

And Happy Secular New Year!

We're so blessed to share a special newsletter with you today. Recently, Bonnie Chernin, Liz Gabert, and Alice Lemos joined me to talk about being Jewish and pro-life. We share about when and why we identified as pro-life and our experiences sharing our message within and outside the Jewish community. We explore politics, the history of the pro-life movement, anti-Semitism, and our place in Jewish culture and religion.

We hope you enjoy our discussion. So many of us want to talk about our experiences, thoughts, and feelings about this vital issue, so please feel free to contact me and our guests to explore these ideas further.

Please let us know if you'd like to appear on our show, or if you know of someone who would. We need many voices to speak out for those who cannot speak for themselves!

May there be abundant peace from Heaven, and good life upon us and upon all Israel. Amen.

A note on the Torah portion this week, Vayechi, in which Jacob blesses Joseph's sons, Menashe and Ephraim. that they should join Jacob's sons and become progenitors of the nation of Israel. Let's take a moment to bless our children, whether lost to abortion or with us here on Earth, that through HaShem's mystery and power, each one will ultimately fulfill their honorable and noble destiny.

"God, before Whom my fathers, Abraham and Isaac, walked, God Who sustained me as long as I am alive, until this day, may the angel who redeemed me from all harm bless the youths, and may they be called by my name and the name of my fathers, Abraham and Isaac, and may they multiply abundantly like fish, in the midst of the land."
Genesis 48:15-16.
The American
Association of Pro-Life OBGYNs (AAPLOG)
identifies 10 abortion
myths that make
abortion a difficult topic
to talk about. While most Americans have ignored it and while our health departments and medical societies have turned a blind eye to it, abortion has adversely affected far too many women, injured many physically and emotionally, destroyed families, and damaged the psyche of our country. Begin to have difficult conversations with friends and family so you can help others to really confront this issue, too. It is time that our country sees abortion for what it really is—for the sake of women and children yet unborn. Myth # 8 is "Most Americans Support Abortion on Demand." Read it here
