EDUCATION COMMITTEE UPDATE
The Education Committee has been hard at work building an interesting and informative educational program for next year - indoor and field classes, biodiversity walks, tours of farms and other interesting places in Boulder County, including coffee/tea, lunch, or happy hour after some programs.

Our goal for these learning experiences is to provide opportunities to learn about 1) the complexity and value of interconnected natural ecosystems; 2) the challenges to these ecosystems; and 3) approaches to maximize ecosystem health and resilience now and in the future. To accomplish this, we will also share information on which Boulder County, Colorado, and Federal agencies work with the land, what they do, and how best to work with them as an advocate on environmental issues in our region.

Some of the topics in the works include Agroecology and Regenerative Agriculture, with tours of local farms; Water Issues in Boulder County; Forests & Fire Ecology; History from a Bird’s Eye View; Dragonflies of Boulder County, and a variety of nature walks. From easy walks to more in-depth classes and field trips, we hope you will find something that prompts you to sign up, learn, and enjoy beautiful Boulder County.

Stay tuned for more information in early 2024.
