UPDATE ON OUR KUTZTOWN BRANCH
We continue to make quick progress thanks to our diligent contractor, Stanley W. Bauman Jr, who has two to three team members on site daily to keep the project moving forward. Demolition and interior wall framing has been completed, and rough in schematics for the teller pods, seating area and fireplace are also finished. Mechanical, plumbing and electrical rough ins are in process. Once all inspections are complete, drywall will take place.
As we work to enhance our facilities for your utmost convenience and comfort, our Kutztown Branch remains operational through our drive-thru. Our contractor's efficiency and care has allowed us to keep our drive-thru and ATM open throughout the entirety of construction thus far.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time, and we will continue to keep you updated on our progress here on our website.

THE DIFFERENCE OF BANKING LOCAL
It's simple: Relationships matter to us. You'll see this in the hometown hospitality you'll find in any of our branches, to the personable service offered by our commercial lending team.
As we embrace the warmth of Summer and the vibrant energy of our communities, there's no better time to celebrate the backbone of our local economies - our small businesses. China Hut recently opened their doors to the neighborhood in Fleetwood, PA. Ying Ling Lian and her family found it important to give back to the community that raised her and her siblings by opening a restaurant where she saw the community lacked. Over 200 customers visited on opening day, a number that rose to over 300 their second day in business. Their journey, they believe, is a "blend of passion, dedication, and the unwavering support of their beloved hometown.
Ying and her family say that their journey would not have been possible without the support of Fleetwood Bank:

"Since 2006, Fleetwood Bank has been more than just a financial institution - it's been a pillar of support, understanding, and trust. Fleetwood Bank played a crucial role in helping us bring this restaurant to life. Knowing that my bank understands my needs gives me peace of mind and reinforces my decision to continue banking with them."

When preparing to open his business, Frutchey Endodontics, the owner Brian described it as a long process, from finding the right location to getting renovations done due to the pandemic. Brian emphasizes the difference it made when banking local instead of working with a national bank:
"With Fleetwood Bank, their lenders live right near me and because of that they understand my vision and are able to get a resolution to an issue the same day. Their level of customer service is second to none, and they make the process very simple from start to finish."

COMMITTED TO OUR COMMUNITY
While all banks value and make time for giving back to their communities, our commitment to the community is deep-rooted in our company culture. It’s something that all of our employees value as the only independent community bank headquartered in Berks County.
We support more than one hundred local organizations through not just monetary donations and sponsorships yearlong, but also through promoting community events. In 2023 alone, we donated thousands of dollars to local organizations and nonprofits to help strengthen the success of our community.
Here's some recent ways we are supporting the community:
| |
Consider donating to our friends at the Fleetwood Fire Company! In the current hot temperatures, they are currently at a “critically low amount of water and sports drinks to rehydrate before, during, and after calls.”
Donations can be dropped off at the back door of the engine room at their facility located at 16 N. Chestnut Street at any time, and the Fleetwood Boyer's Food Markets has a drop off / purchase point as well if that is more convenient.
The Fleetwood Bank team enjoyed stopping by to thank them for all they do for our community, which includes providing fire, rescue, and Quick Response Services to over 4,000 residents, more than 1,200 homes, three schools, and seven churches throughout the Fleetwood Borough, in addition to assisting departments in their mutual aid response area.
