Winter Break Ahead

Congrats to our Girls' Varsity Basketball!

KODIAK WEEKLY BULLETIN

Greetings,

This is our last Weekly Bulletin issue for 2023 and the last day of school before winter break is Tuesday, Dec. 19. We have so much to celebrate as a community. We reflect and celebrate our girls' varsity win at the Kodiak Classic Basketball tournament, our student growth, building community, and support from our Parents Association! There is no better time to be a Kodiak!

Re-Enrollment News

Looking ahead, we want to ensure our Kodiak families are offered a streamlined re-enrollment process for the 2024-2025 academic year. Be sure to save the date for Feb. 8 when re-enrollment contracts will be emailed with a prompt to log in to Finalsite. Contracts will be ready to review in Finalsite reflecting your tuition rate, aid awards, scholarships, including any sibling discounts that may apply. Signed contracts and deposits are due by Feb. 22.

Download the Step-by-Step Guide for the re-enrollment process including our new Clarity financial aid program and applications are due Feb. 1. Clarity is a platform we have implemented to calculate Indexed Tuition. Please reach out if you have any questions about re-enrollment.

Recommendations upon arrival from travels:

Because flu, strep, and COVID are common this time of year and have overlapping symptoms, please consider getting tested if you are having symptoms: congestion, running nose, fever, fatigue, muscle aches, sore throat, stomach ache, nausea, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell. Obtain free COVID tests at the link below. If you are not feeling well, please stay home to prevent the transmission of illness on campus. If you are diagnosed with flu, strep, or COVID, please communicate with Dr. Hocate at melissahocate@css.org to assist with illness surveillance on campus.

Free Covid Tests:

Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order an additional 4 free at-home tests beginning November 20. If you did not order tests this fall, you may place two orders for a total of 8 tests. Visit https://www.covid.gov/tests. In addition, the FDA has extended the expiration dates of most at-home test kits. Further information is available on the FDA website.
