Happy 17th Birthday to our Sumatran Tiger, Rojo!

Do you have a birthday coming up as well? Miller Park Zoo is a great place to have a party! Parties include room or picnic shelter reservation, all day admission to the zoo, gift bags and more!

Presents for Paws ornaments are available in the Zootique and at AB Hatchery. These handmade ornaments feature colorful paw prints of your favorite animals here at the zoo! All proceeds go towards care and enrichment items for our animals. Gifts for the animals can also be purchased directly from our Amazon wishlist.

Holiday Gift Ideas

Winter brings changes for animals and keepers. Certain animals may need changes in diet, habitat, and enrichment. The keepers are educated on the various needs of each animal at the zoo. Their goal is to keep zoo exhibits similar to the animal’s natural habitat.

Carousel Restoration

The carousel has brought joy to visitors of Miller Park Zoo for more than 20 years. We hope that with the restoration of the carousel, our visitors will continue to create lasting memories for years to come.

Restoring a carousel requires specialized expertise. Even well-used and a bit tattered our carousel has significant value, and it is well worth the cost and effort to restore. An Ohio based company will disassemble, remove, restore, and reassemble the carousel. The process will begin in May and take 8 – 10 months to complete.

Fundraising efforts will continue until the $145,000 goal is met. Thanks to generous donors we are almost halfway there!
