Applied Technology Department

As the recipient of multiple Foundation grants, the Applied Technology department’s Studio 304 went through a transformation this summer with new flooring, paint, moveable desks and chairs and the arrival of materials for building drones, remote-control vehicles and robots as well as new laptops to run architectural and engineering software and a large-format laser cutter for students to showcase their designs.

Thanks to the support of our community, these upgrades are benefiting hundreds of students in Redwood’s growing Architecture and Engineering classes and clubs and providing them with a space that allows for collaboration and the most up to date technology.
