February 3, 2023 | NEWS YOU CAN USE!
Dear St. Anne Catholic School Parents:

We had a wonderful celebration of National Catholic Schools Week. Catholic Schools Week was celebrated across the country with the theme of “Catholic Schools: Faith, Excellence, Service”, which are an integral part of our mission. Catholic schools have a specific purpose to form disciples of Christ, teaching our students to be good citizens of the world, love God and neighbor and to be a living example of our faith.

Throughout the week there were many opportunities to celebrate and live out our Catholic faith. We kicked off Catholic Schools Week with Fun Friday and our annual Chili Cookoff. We are so grateful to Mr. Feldman and the Dad’s Club for sponsoring this event. The Saturday mass was filled with St. Anne students and families. Our choir and bell choir were a beautiful addition to the celebration. Saturday evening was filled with food, fellowship, and fun at Cajunville. It was a packed house and it was so great to see our students and parents helping to serve at the restaurant. Monday started our Nickel Wars and throughout the week we raised over $3,200.00 which will be donated to Gratia Plena in keeping with the Work of Mercy, “Counsel the Doubtful”. Our Pastries with Pals event was well attended, thank you to our PTO for hosting this event. On Wednesday, the students attended school mass and participated in the Patriotic Rosary and on Thursday we learned about vocations, dressed as our vocation, and participated in Adoration. On Friday we attended mass in honor of the feast day of St. Blaise, had our throats blessed and closed out the day with a pep rally. We bring the week to a close by inviting families to pray a Novena to the Holy Family together.

Our Future Family Open House on Wednesday was very well attended. We have many families interested in attending our school and we are excited to welcome them to our family. Thank you to those who have shared the good news about St. Anne with your friends and encouraged them to visit. Registration is now open for new students.

Steps for Students is just one week away! Our goal is to have 100% student participation in this event. The money raised supports our school and helps us to reach our overall fundraising goal. Don’t want to run or walk – you can hit “snooze” for schools and still participate! Click here to register.

Our Gala signup parties are now underway. February will be filled with fun for our students as they enjoy these themed parties hosted by our dedicated teachers. See the Crusader Connection and the Gala page of our website for details. Raffle tickets were sent home today. We have some exciting raffle prizes this year! See the Crusader Connection and emails from Mrs. Minch for more information.
