Dear North Side Community School Friends,

Thank you so much for your support for a great 2021-22 school year. Your contributions were critical to ensure our students received additional resources and tools they needed to succeed.

Our team is working hard this month to prepare for the upcoming school year. We are excited to share that we are now accepting enrollment applications online! We are also seeking excellent candidates to join our team at North Side and serve our students in a variety of roles. Please see below for more information.

Last month I had the wonderful privilege of traveling to Jefferson City with a group of North Side students to witness Governor Parson signing House Bill 1552 - This bill significantly increases the amount of funding allocated to charter schools, enabling us to provide even more robust opportunities for our students. You will see some great photos of our students below as they experienced first hand a day of Missouri Government!
We invite you to join us as for our Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 13th. This event will be open to the community and feature free school supplies, food, haircuts and more!

Trip to Jefferson City
In late June, a group of students from North Side Community School traveled to Jefferson City with our Executive Director, Doug Thaman, to witness Governor Parson sign a bill that will drastically increase funding for charter schools in Missouri!

According to the MO Charter Schools Association,
“With a stroke of a pen, Governor Parson has added approximately $62 million for charter public schools across the state of Missouri. The signing of House Bill (HB) 1552 allows an adjustment to ensure more equitable funding for public school children, whether attending a charter or district school.”
Back to School Bash
North Side will be holding a back to school bash on Saturday, August 13 from 10AM-2PM at our elementary campus.
