8th Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta!

Friday, June 14, 6:30-9:00pm

Using only cardboard and duct tape, build a boat to paddle the length of the Brookside Pool (the big one!) Heats will be based on the boat driver's age and there are four categories you can place in: Best design; 1st Place in heat, Champion and Davey Jones Locker. View the slideshow from last year. Rye Y Fights Hunger Through Multi-Agency Food Drive

The Rye YMCA celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Togetherhood community service program earlier this month by holding a six-day food drive for four local pantries: Bread of Life, Carver Market, Harrison Food Pantry, and Larchmont-Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force. In total, 52 large bags of non-perishable food items were distributed to the organizations.

Rye Y Gymnasts Excel at Regionals

Seven Rye Y gymnasts travelled to New Hampshire to compete in the YMCA New England Regional Gymnastics Championships on May 17-19. The Rye Y brought home several awards including: Level 2: Simone Rodriguez 4th place on floor, Level 3, Kinsale Walsh, 5th place on Vault and Emily Kao 1st place on beam, 4th place on floor, 5th place all around.   • Strollers are not allowed in the Y. Please leave them in the covered area outside.
  • Everyone entering the Y MUST check in at the Member Services Desk. ALL members must check in using their membership card, the Rye Y app or last name. ALL others must check in using a sign-in sheet.

Parking at the Y

  • Our parking lots are ONLY for those using the Rye Y. Click here to read our new towing policy.
  • Please check and make sure you are parked between the lines.
  • Slow down!
  • At 21 Locust, we have a parking attendant to help if you can't find a parking spot, Monday-Friday, 8am-12pm and 3-7pm.
  • Please note the new signs restricting parking to residents on portions of Mead Place.
  • No idling please. For everyone's health, for the environment and because it's the law.
