Holy Week schedule

Palm Sunday, April 13 | 10:00am Worship Service

We embrace the vibrant joy of Palm Sunday children's parade of the palms and welcoming our New Members. Then, we wave palms, celebrating Jesus' entry into Jerusalem. Yet, the joyous procession foreshadows the somber journey to the cross, a poignant blend of triumph and impending sacrifice. We hold both the light of "Hosanna" and the shadows of what is to come.

Maundy Thursday, April 17

At the Table with Jesus: A Maundy Thursday Experience | 4:30-5:30pm

Families and their children are invited to gather at the table with Jesus to share scripture, bread and grape juice, participate in foot washing and otherwise immerse themselves in the story of what happened that night in an upper room in Jerusalem.

Tenebrae Worship | 7:30pm

Meaning light and shadows, a Tenebrae worship service features readings, music and Holy Communion, commemorating the events of the Last Supper and the betrayal of Jesus.

Easter Sunday, April 20

Easter Sunrise Service | 6:00am

Reminiscent of the disciples discovering the empty tomb just before dawn, we will gather in joyful praise as the first light of day breaks over the North River on Easter morning.

Held at the home of Rachel and Brett Wollam, 15 Blackthorne Lane in Norwell.

Resurrection Worship | 10:00am

A joyful worship service featuring celebratory music and Holy Communion

to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the victory over death and

promise of eternal life.

At the table with Jesus: A Maundy Thursday experience for children

Children and their families are invited to walk through the events of the Last Supper and the final moments of Jesus' life. There will be chances to read, to set the table, break bread, to have your feet washed, and wander out into the garden with Jesus. If you have any questions or concerns about content (or anything), please reach out to jenny.

Minister of Music search update

Dear Church Family,

Since publicly posting our full-time Minister of Music position on January 1, we received applications from 25 individuals. The application window closed on March 31 as planned, and we conducted screening interviews with 9 of those candidates. From there, 7 of the most qualified applicants were invited to participate in group interviews over Zoom. As of today, our team has held individual auditions with 4 of our final candidates. We are grateful for your ongoing support and ask that you continue to keep this team in your prayers as we seek God’s guidance in identifying the right person to lead and grow our church’s music ministry.

Thank you,

Minister of Music Search Committee
