On November 26, we will present our financial commitments for 2024. Pledge forms will be available. You may also pledge online using My Nassau. We are grateful for those who have already made your commitment.

This Sunday, November 26, we will receive the monthly Hunger Offering, a designated special offering for alleviating hunger in our community and around the world. The Mission Committee partners with the following recipients of the hunger offering: HomeFront, Presbyterian Hunger Program, Send Hunger Packing Princeton, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, and Uniting Reformed Church in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Thank you for giving until all are fed.

Give online using the link provided or by using Church Life on your phone. Checks can be mailed to 61 Nassau Street, Princeton, NJ 08542, dropped off in the drop box near the base of the ramp by the parking lot or placed in the offering plates on Sunday morning.

“Telling Our Stories” is a new documentary film that tells of the history and relationship of Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church and Nassau Presbyterian Church. It is the story of how two congregations are working to be honest about our past and move forward together standing on our faith and building relationships one by one. It is 37 minutes long and is a must see!!

The bulletin from the October 8 service also contains a history of Presbyterians in Princeton since 1755 compiled by members of the churches.

Princeton Public Health nurses are providing at-home flu vaccinations for homebound Princeton residents. There is limited vaccine supply for this population so requests for this service are for those unable to leave their house to go to a flu clinic/pharmacy/medical office. To make an appointment, call Public Health Nurse, Kathy Korwin, 609-497-7609.

Drop off in the main office on Sundays by January 7

The Mass Incarceration Task Force is collecting 2024 calendars to send to East Jersey State Prison in Rahway. The calendars must not have wire bindings, but staples are okay.

Join us Thanksgiving morning, November 23 at 11:00 AM, for a service at the Princeton University Chapel. The service is co-sponsored by the Princeton Clergy Association and the Office of Religious Life at Princeton University and includes participants from local religious communities. We gather for gratitude, friendship, prayer, and music.

This autumn, Nassau Presbyterian Church small groups are focusing upon prayer: examples of prayer in the Bible, ways to pray, and prayer within different contexts. Over the next week the Sacred Art of Photography group will be sharing one or two prayers and photos each day on Nassau’s Instagram and Facebook feeds. You will also be able to view these posts on the church website.

Christmas Poinsettias

You are invited to give a poinsettia in memory or honor of a loved one. A full listing of names will be printed in the Order of Worship on Dec. 17. Deadline: Dec. 10. Cards are available in the office with checks payable to "Nassau Presbyterian Church" or at the link below.

Health for Haiti Tree

Beginning Sunday, December 3, decorate our Christmas Tree in the Assembly Room with items needed for the Haiti clinic: muscle rub, antibiotic cream, gauze, tape, Band-Aids, ACE bandages, thermometers, wooden tongue depressors, non-latex gloves, hand lotion, small cakes of soap, packaged toothbrushes, small children’s toys (matchbox cars, jump ropes, etc.), barrettes, and hair ribbons.

While the building remains locked on some weekdays, administrative staff are onsite full time and program staff are in the office regularly. Please use the doorbell at the ramp entrance if you need access when the church office is open. If you need to drop something off, the locked drop box at the bottom of the ramp is checked daily.
