Welcome new ReStore Manager Adam Ashford (shown here with his dog Trigger)! He recently graduated from Lewis Clark State College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and wants to make a difference in the community. Before he started college, he had worked at the Habitat ReStore as a truck driver and volunteer coordinator, so he believes that returning as the Restore Manager feels like "I’ve now come full circle and returned to my roots."
Speaking of the ReStore, if you've started to think about SPRING CLEANING, don't forget that when you donate items to the ReStore you are helping fund our vision of making sure everyone has a decent place to live.
Your local ReStore can also help with all of your other house projects -- from paint and paint supplies to switching out your appliances or furniture. Visit our ReStore website, call our store at (208) 743-1300, or come meet Adam and his helpful staff at 1633 G St., in Lewiston, from 9 AM–5:30 PM Tuesdays through Fridays or 9 AM–4 PM on Saturdays.

Habitat Home #35 Construction Update
|
|
Habitat Home #35 is nearly finished and we look forward to celebrating with our dedication! Habitat staff have now air sealed the house, insulated the attic and walls, hung the drywall, and are working on mudding, taping, and texturing.
This month, we’ll be painting the inside and could use some volunteers to tape off doors and windows as well as brush and roll the house. Find out more information on the Volunteers website.

Thank you to The Home Depot for their in-kind donation of paint for Habitat House #35!

CAHR program reopened for applications
Working in partnership with the City of Clarkston and Washington State Department of Commerce, the Habitat office is offering a Clarkston Affordable Home Repair (CAHR) Program. This can help families address critical needs in their homes by focusing on safety, accessibility and meeting municipal codes. By offering home repairs for no or low cost, the program will help preserve and ensure safe, decent, and affordable housing in Clarkston. Find more information about CAHR on our website.
