"Winning the Battle Against Anti-semitic Hate

on Social Media"

Guest Speaker: Nitsana Darshan-Leitner

Thursday, Feb. 23 at 2:00 pm

Nina Iser Jewish Cultural Center

Free event for all. Register Here.

Israel's leading activist attorney, Nitsana Darshan-Leitner of the Shurat HaDin Law Center, will deliver a lecture presenting the legal battle she has waged against the internet giants to rein in the extremist messaging, incitement to anti-Semitic violence and Israel bashing on social media.

Ms. Darshan-Leitner will detail the behind-the-scenes story of how, in 2015, in the midst of a heinous terror wave in the Jewish State, Israeli victims launched an international courtroom struggle against the social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, to hold them legally liable for providing material support to the Palestinian extremist groups. Next month their high profile case, Gonzalez v. Google, will be heard by the US Supreme Court in what is expected to be an unprecedented decision that could bring the Big Tech companies to their knees. Come here a fascinating lecture of how the terror victims and their lawyers are finally turning the tables on those targeting the world Jewish community and Israel.
