Read from the Start - Sponsor a Family!

Children who grow up hearing stories and looking at books will fall in love with language. Read from the Start, MH’s family reading initiative, is offered free of charge to Missouri Families and empowers parents and caregivers to read to their young children.

Missouri families may choose to receive a free Literacy Kit, which includes 2-3 books, to aid in the literacy of young children (ages 0-10).

Please help sponsor Read from the Start Kits by donating to help pay for the shipping of these kits. Each $11 that you donate will help provide a family with books to kickstart the literacy of young readers!
