Professor Donato Martinez
Delve into the compelling story of Professor Donato Martinez, who was born in a small pueblo of Zacatecas, Mexico and emigrated to the USA at a young age. As a Mexican immigrant, he embraced education and now teaches English composition, Literature, and Creative Writing at Santa Ana College. His poetry captures the essence of barrio life, bicultural identity, and the power of language. Join us for an evening of inspiration and cultural celebration! Drinks, snacks, mingle session, and a free journal will be provided.
