Clay-Duval County Trail Feasibility Study
This study identified feasible routes connecting a trail from Gold Head State Park in Clay County to the Cecil Trail in Duval County. The study team developed a series of alternatives through coordination with local agencies, an overview of existing and previous routes, and public involvement through an online survey. The route alternatives were then analyzed for their feasibility based on a variety of attributes that resulted in a matrix summarizing the pros and cons for each route.

First Coast Expressway St. Johns County Impact Study
The First Coast Expressway (FCE) is an FDOT toll facility being constructed to provide a second beltway in the southwest quadrant of I-10 and I-95. The FCE will provide a high-speed connection between Clay County and I-95 and is expected to divert traffic currently using the existing roadway network in northwest St. Johns County.

The study modeled future travel behavior and looked at the impacts to local roads. The results show that the FCE will provide a valuable transportation link between the residential areas in Clay County and the employment centers in Jacksonville, pulling traffic from the local roadway network.
