Dear Parents,
What a beautiful week of sunshine! The kids sure enjoyed recess in the warm weather. Hopefully we will have a mild winter in store for us.
Thank you all for sorting pizzas this past Saturday. We had a great turnout. I am hopeful that bringing back pizza making in spring will be a huge success with enough volunteers to make it a great event. Many people ask for the homemade pizzas, so we have decided to give it a try again. We have not done this since Covid, but we are willing to give it a try one more time. We need upwards of 90 volunteers (only 2-hours per family) to make it happen. The pizzas are easy to sell, more affordable, taste great, and the comradery of working together make this a really fun day. The date has yet to be determined but please keep this in mind for spring. The large number of volunteers who showed up this past weekend, make me hopeful that we can make this happen and do it well. We have been blessed with many volunteers so thank you to everyone for getting involved in our school community. "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." - Helen Keller.
We had a wonderful day celebrating our Grandparents. Again, we had many volunteers helping at the book fair, serving lunch, and helping in the cafeteria. Thank you Grandparents Day committee of teachers for all of the hard work planning a wonderful day. We hope our Grandparents had a great day with us.
Have a great weekend!
