DO YOU HAVE FINANCIAL QUESTIONS?

We're here to help. Contact Becca Farrell at finance@slecp.org to ask your financial question or to make an appointment whether it be about your pledge, giving, or commission budget. She'll be happy to find the answers you need.

Important note from the finance officer: There have been several checks received that do not say who the donor is. Please be sure you check with your financial institution that your name is at least on the stub. You are also welcomed to email Becca at finance@slecp.org ahead of time to tell her that there is a check coming in from you. Please list the financial institution and the amount and she can verify that it was received. We want to make sure that you receive a donation letter.

Diocesan News and Updates

Dear Friends in Christ,

We heard from around the diocese that people want more time together to learn, to reflect, and to grow in faith. So in 2025, we are trying something new in Arizona: three regional “Discipleship Days.”

Discipleship Day - Central Valley

March 1st, 2025 9:30 am to 3pm

Christ Church of the Ascension,

Paradise Valley

Discipleship Day - Tucson

April 5th, 2025 9:30 am to 3 pm

Christ the King Episcopal Church

Tucson

Discipleship Day - Northern

April 26th, 2025 9:30 am to 3 pm

Church of the Epiphany

Flagstaff

Who should come to the Discipleship Days?

Anyone who wants to grow in their faith and has a ministry of leadership in a congregation. That includes clergy and laypeople!

What should I expect at the Discipleship Days?

· A keynote address by the Rev. Jim Clark about healthy church culture

· Bible Study led by Canon Anita

· Time with Bishop Reddall

· A choice of workshops on church finance/stewardship, Vestry/Bishop’s Committee orientation; the role of the Deacon in the congregation; and the Spiritual life

· Brief presentations on a couple of diocesan ministries

· Peer learning and sharing with others from around the Diocese

The Central Valley Day is March 1st, 2025 at Christ Church of the Ascension in Paradise Valley. You can register for it below. Registration for Tucson Day and Northern Day will be coming soon.

We hope to see many of you there, as we grow in our faith as disciples of Jesus!

+Jennifer

If you are interested in registering for the Central Valley Day, please contact Lynda at St. Luke's (parishadmin@slecp.org) and she can send you the link.

Community News and Updates

Community Food Banks in the Quad City Area are Seeking Our Support, too!

Our food donation program, which benefits three of our area food banks, continues. This has been an on-going program (separate from the St. Luke's Food Pantry) where parishioners can donate non-perishable food items that will in turn be shared with the Prescott Community Cupboard, the Prescott Valley Food Bank, and the Chino Valley Food Bank.

Your donations of non-perishable food items may be left in the wooden box in the Parish Hall.

Thank you for your continued support of all our food donation programs!

Community Contact Lists

The administration office, along with many dedicated volunteers, has been working to update our Community Services reference lists. Many services are available here in our community for food, clothing, housing, and other needs that folks in our community may need.
