July 2022 MMS Newsletter

Happy 4th of July from the team at MMS!

A Note from Steve

July 4th is almost here and all the folks at MMS want to wish all of our customers a happy, fun and safe holiday. We also want to thank all of our customers who have helped us develop, and test the products we have released over the last couple of years. Without their support, ideas and criticism, we would not be where we are today. Be assured we are working to improve and expand on the products we have released and are working on some very interesting new technologies, which we will be sharing with you soon.

Mid-Year 2022 Update

Sentinel-CPM

Sentinel®-CPM

Sentinel®–CPM has been a resounding success for our customers, but there’s a lot more to come.

We recognize that our newly developed Compressor Diagnostic Program will be a significant benefit in supporting our goal of providing equipment to support the health and safety of your reciprocating equipment.

Our motto, Our Customers Come First is reflected in this new product and we are proud to share that our Diagnostic Program is installed on every MMS Sentinel-CPM board. Our board connects directly to your Unit PLC to exchange data. We believe this is a big win for our customers and best of all, there are no monthly subscription fees nor data that must be uploaded to a third-party company’s web application in the cloud. The data resides on your system, assuring a secure, accessible storage structure.

What began as a need for a secure, TSA Compliant log-in authentication our customers requested, has grown into a solution for the ever-increasing need for remote monitoring and automated compressor diagnostics.

To the novice, a crank-end suction valve leak might appear the same as a packing leak. By employing Warren Laible’s algorithms, we have succeeded in analyzing the phased PV Curves, temperatures, flow characteristics, clearances etc., comparing them to the theoretical values generated in ACI’s eRCM Model in near real time. The output is your compressor health status that watches over your compressor 24/7.

Additional Field trials are scheduled for the Diagnostic Program logic to ensure the product exceeds our customer’s expectations on a wide variety of applications. We will report back with our results in the next few months, or as soon as the trials have been completed.

MachineryRx®

Customers are now asking for our ProBalance System to communicate with MachineryRx so they have the option of tracking balancing of their engines.

We are currently in development.

MMS Newsletters

Monthly Newsletter

Customers asked that we kept them in the loop with MMS product development. We developed a monthly newsletter. Each newsletter has a personal note from Steve, Equipment information and a short training topic. We hope you find our newsletters helpful in your business. Each newsletter is posted on our MMS News web page. We promise our customers that we will not overload their inbox so we keep our emails to once each month.

As our friends know, we are constantly growing our business, creating solutions as new problems are brought to our attention. If you have a problem, we may have a solution, and if we don’t, we just might invent one.  If you need reliable, safe reciprocating compressor operations at an affordable cost, give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you.
