Updates from the Chamber Network

From the CEO's Desk

We hope you have had a restful and enjoyable summer thus far and can make the most of the last week or so leading into what promises to be a busy fall season. Activities are picking up this week, with the Grand River Council on Aging Board meeting – in advance of The Grand Parade event at Kiwanis Field on September 17th, the City of Brantford’s Newcomer Welcome Day at Mohawk Park, and the Summer Company Wrap-Up with the Business Resource Centre, all occurring on Wednesday, August 24th!

With the candidates certified for the 2022 Municipal Elections, this fall presents many opportunities to advance the priorities of business to improve our community. The Chamber is pleased to be the community producer of the City of Brantford televised debates with RogersTV. They will be taped Sept 14th and 15th and aired on Rogers and YouTube until Election Day, October 24th. If you would like to volunteer to assist, please let us know!

Have a great week!

Dave
