Please Leash Your Dog!

For the safety of your pet, please use a leash as you enter or exit the dog park!

It is a dog park rule AND, it is in our lease agreement with the City of Vero Beach: "Dog owners shall not allow their dog off-leash except within the confines of the premises."

10th Anniversary Dog

In March 2024 the dog park will celebrate 10 years! Last month we begin a monthly series of 10^th Anniversary dog profiles. Our Anniversary dogs are those that came to the park in 2014 and who still visit the park today.

The 10^th Anniversary logo used here will be used throughout 2024 and included on special edition anniversary branded merchandise we will release later this year.

The 10-year success of the dog park is because of you! Stay tuned as we announce anniversary events and other information.

Microchipped Dogs Are More Than 2X as Likely to Be Returned to Their Owners

Make an appointment with your veterinarian for microchipping if your pet isn’t already microchipped.
Check your already-microchipped pet’s registration information in the microchip manufacturer’s database, and make sure it’s up-to-date.
When a microchipped pet isn’t returned home, it’s usually due to incorrect or missing owner information in the microchip registry.

Make Sure You Register Your Pet's Microchip!

We see many dogs shown on the local Facebook Lost & Found Pets site that when examined by a vet find the dog is microchipped but the microchip has not been registered! Double check with where you got the dog or with your vet. You may assume the chip is registered but that may not be the case. Don't let the registration fee lapse.
