What is your place in Christ's Kingdom?
Greetings!
After 5 months of effective and fruitful discipleship school, we were able to graduate 11 young people this past summer from our Discipleship Training School (DTS). They learned how to know the Lord Jesus personally and after that, they learned to know Him among different groups and tribe of people. It is great to see how God transformed young lives and expanded His Kingdom in this nation. We were encouraged that after graduation, some of these students began to get seriously involved in sharing the Gospel in their local church ministry and sharing their personal relationship testimonies with people and seeing people come to Christ.
Testimony from Discipleship Training School (DTS)

Trishna was a new Christian when she came to DTS. She never sat in the front of the class with eagerness to learn. She did not know how to pray nor read the Bible. She was very afraid and shy to share the Gospel on her outreach assignments. However, after graduation she went back home and got actively involved in their Gospel outreach. Already, four people have accepted Christ though her sharing. She said after DTS, “I know how and why it is important to share the Gospel and I understand my responsibility to do it. I have decided I will not stop sharing the Gospel and now, this is my passion.”
Classes
Faces blurred and locations changed to protect identities
This past May, my wife and I traveled almost 1075KM (668 miles) by motorbike to visit and teach some of the DTS classes in west Nepal. It was fun to travel, but the sad part was that we got a flat tire in 45° temperatures in the midst of the jungle. Praise God, after one hour, we found someone who could help us fix it.
We continued traveling that week and were glad to teach the Biblical World View among seven young people. It is our great privilege to help them understand their identity and their value in Christ. One of the students commented, “Even though my father was the pastor, I was just a nominal Christian and did not understand the purpose of life and being a Christian. But after this week, I clearly understand WHO I am in Christ and WHAT my life’s goal and mission is.” We are so glad to see young people finding their place in Christ.
The northwest region is one of the most isolated and unreached areas of Nepal. However, praise God, He has given us 23 pastor leaders to serve in this region! They are working hard to take care of the flock, sharing the Gospel, teaching the churches and expanding the Kingdom. This month, we gathered them together and heard many stories from them about God’s work. We equipped and encouraged them through the Word of God to continue fervently in the next leg of the race (Psalm 133), prayed for them, laughed with them and asked for His direction for their future. These are God’s faithful ministers.
Seminar

We are also actively teaching and spreading the Family Counseling Seminar in Nepali churches. This month, we were able to teach it in one of the churches in western Nepal. This is the first time these church members have heard of this kind of teaching from the Word, which helped them understand the role and goal of the husband and wife in the family, the differences between men and women, and Godly parenting. They are eager to learn and seek to apply these teachings in their families. My wife and I truly believe God led is to these churches to teach on these topics. We pray that lives will truly be changed for the glory of the Lord.
Prayer Requests & Praises

Praises:

Praise God for supplying all needed resources for the 5 months of DTS, so that eleven young people could be equipped to be sent out for His Kingdom work.

Twenty-four pastor leaders have been renewed and challenged on their vision, calling and commitment for God’s Kingdom work. Also, they were newly equipped for fruitful and effective ministry.

The Lord provided all the resources and protection on our travels and ministry each day.

Praise God that He has given us friends and family like you, who stand alongside us with prayer and financial support for His Kingdom work. We are seeking to fulfill our part of His mission, for all to hear and know Christ.

Prayer Requests:

Please pray for our new CCI classes with a total of 34 students.

Please pray for our September Discipleship Training School. We are praying and planning to accept 16 students for this 5 month training session. Our challenge is that most of them could not pay their training fees, so we need to provide $200 ($40 per month) scholarships for each student, which is 16x200=$3200 total. Please pray for His provision.

Please pray for our current CCI classes, so they will learn effectively for fruitful ministry. We have 9 different classes in 7 different locations with 180 pastor leaders.

Please pray for our orphanage home ministry, which we are trying to start this August. We have 12 orphans in contact with us to come to our orphanage house. The government rules and regulations are very aggressive and complicated. Please pray for His wisdom and provision for this ministry also.

Please pray for God’s continue grace and mercy upon our family and ministry.
