For the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, a Caring Partners healthcare mission team was able to serve side by side with our National Director and his church partners in the nation of Thailand. Our team served in four locations with three different Pastors. A clinic was conducted at the Chiang Rai church of our National Director, Pastor Jay Orata, at a village in Wiang Chiang Rung, and in the cities of Chonburi and Rayong with Pastor Nono and Pastor Tonog. In Rayong, our healthcare clinic was the first mission outreach in that area where Pastors Nono & Tonog desire to plant a Gospel-preaching church.

God orchestrated some miraculous events during our time serving in the village. This is an isolated area where many Hill Tribe members live - our mission team drove for miles on a dirt road in order to reach the community. While there, we treated patients from what seemed like "every tribe and every tongue" (Revelations 7:9) - our patients spoke one of six languages; Thai, Hmong, Akha, Lesu, Lahu, and Chinese; and each of these languages needed to be translated into English for our doctors and nurses to care for each patient properly. How did God accomplish this task? The Lord provided students from a small Christian boarding school in Chiang Rai who spoke English as well as those various languages!

And how is God always working behind the scenes, making a way when it seems there is no way? Eight years ago, during CPI's first clinic in Chiang Rai, CPI missionary Rhonda Reed served with Paul, a young man attending Pastor Jay's church. Paul spoke English well enough to help Rhonda translate at the eyeglass station, but he desired to go to the USA to learn even more. Paul was able to travel to the USA, and now eight years later, he has returned to Chiang Rai, Thailand, and is the Thai administrator of the Christian school which served with CPI in the village! Truly, our God is so good, and we can claim His promise in Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."

During our time in Thailand, hundreds of patients were treated, and 416 men, women, and children made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ after hearing a clear presentation of the Gospel message in our Clinic of the Soul - to God be the glory!

Friends from Moldova at CPI
On any given Volunteer Day at CPI, you may never know whom you will meet! Nancy Dyer and her Friendship Force from the Dayton, Ohio area contacted us to bring a group from the country of Moldova to volunteer with our ministry earlier this month. Many members of the group are involved in gathering medical supplies and medications for Ukrainian refugees currently living in Moldova, so not only was the evening a great time of service, but also an exchange of ideas and suggestions, and prayers for the war's end and for the care of the millions of Ukranian refugees scattered throughout Europe and beyond.
We Need your Prayers & Support
As 2022 comes to a close, our ministry has so much to be thankful for - by God's grace CPI has been able to continue reaching the world with the Gospel, through healthcare, even during a global pandemic. We ask for continued prayers that our ministry can continue and that God will be glorified through all that we say and do, in His Name.

As you pray about your 2022 year-end giving, would you prayerfully consider a financial gift to Caring Partners International? We have so many needs, as we are raising funds to sustain our new surgical mission work in Guatemala, providing travel scholarship funds for young healthcare professionals to be able to join us on the mission field, and raising financial support for our U.S. missionaries and National Directors in Thailand and Guatemala. And dollars are always needed for helping us keep the lights on and our doors open here at our warehouse and office headquarters in Franklin, Ohio!

Please click on the link directly below to make a credit card contribution through our website - if you'd like to designate your gift, list your desires in the Comments section of the form. If you would like to make a contribution through check, or donate stock or property, see our physical address and our office phone number at the end of this newsletter. God bless you for your generosity and kindness in remembering His work and His servants at year-end!
Happy Thanksgiving
