Wilson Talent Center to Host Open House

The Wilson Talent Center will host its annual Open House on Wednesday, December 13, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at 611 Hagadorn Road in Mason. This is a wonderful opportunity for prospective students and parents to see the facility, meet the instructors, learn about curriculum and get enrollment questions answered prior to enrollment for fall 2024. There is no formal program, guests can visit anytime between 4:30-7:30 p.m. #InghamImpact 

Ingham Preschool Openings

While the year is in full swing, there are still spots available in preschool classrooms across the region for the current school year. There's no beginning or end to learning, so there's no right or wrong time to enroll. Communities like Dansville, Holt, Lansing, Leslie, Haslett, Stockbridge and Webberville have openings available. Families shouldn't wait to enroll as spots fill up quickly. Check out the current openings and contact information now.  

Text 911 Now Available

Did you know you can now text 9-1-1 in an emergency situation in Ingham County? Just enter "911" in the "to" field and in the message field include the exact location of your emergency as well as what kind of help you need. Then push the "send" button. While it is still best to call if you can, 9-1-1 text can be used by those with hearing impairments can be or used if it is unsafe for you to talk. Remember, do not text and drive! 

Talent Together Second Cohort

The Talent Together interest form for the second cohort of candidates is now open. The full application will open on January 15, 2024. Talent Together is a consortium of 48 ISDs, including Clinton County RESA, Eaton RESA and Ingham ISD, designed to provide multiple pathways into the teaching profession at no cost to candidates. A virtual information session will be held on Dec. 12 from 4:30-6 p.m. Additionally, Ingham ISD Paraprofessional Emma Booth was recently featured in Bridge Magazine about her participation in the program.
