Hello Reedsburg Families!

November is a time of gratitude. As Superintendent, I continue to be thankful for our dedicated staff members who work tirelessly to inspire creativity, innovation, and a desire to achieve greatness in our students. I am thankful for our amazing students who are committed to maximizing their potential in fearless pursuit of excellence. And I am thankful for the continued support and partnership of our families and the greater Reedsburg community.

Thanksgiving break is right around the corner! I hope this pause in the year offers you and your family the opportunity to spend time together with those you love.

LONG-TERM FACILITIES PLANNING UPDATE:

The Board and administration continue to advance on the next steps of the Long-Term Facilities Planning process. The following is an updated facilities planning schedule for October through March:

Exploratory work for options utilizing a 5th-8th grade middle school and Reedsburg Area High School career and technical education pathway renovations.
A facilities planning update via a community postcard will be mailed later this month.
The next Board workshop is scheduled in early December.
A facilities planning update will also be shared in the next community newsletter, scheduled for February 2024.
A community survey will be distributed in March 2024.
Survey results will be reviewed in May 2024 and used to determine the district's next steps.

NO SCHOOL - Thanksgiving Break

There is NO SCHOOL for Thanksgiving Break from Wednesday, November 22, 2023, through Friday, November 24, 2023.

Webb Care Closet

The Webb Care Closet is open to the public by appointment and on special dates at Webb Middle School. Anyone is welcome to take what they need from the closet; there is a wide range of clothing sizes and clothing items.

Purchase RAHS Activities Passes

The Winter 2023 sports season is almost upon us. The Reedsburg Area High School is offering Activities Passes for home games for the 2023-2024 school year. (basketball, gymnastics, wrestling, and hockey)

Activities Passes are $50.00 per pass. Passes are required for K-8th grade students and adults. RAHS students do not need an Activities Pass. They use their school-issued student ID to enter events.

Music Concerts

Enjoy some music this winter and visit the CAL Center for Choir, Instrumental, and Music concerts.
