Ever present God, there is no house like your house of belonging. In seasons of loss, in seasons of change, in seasons of celebration, you care for us as a mother cares for her child. We are safe in your loving embrace. For your faithfulness to us, for the power of your presence in our lives, we offer our thanksgiving and praise. Loving God, we pray for our church, for those who lead us, for the brothers and sisters who make up our church family, and for our continued faithful witness in this community. May we open ourselves to receive your sustaining presence and be the church you would have us be. Amen
