Bronx Metro North Station Study - MPBID Testimony

Morris Park BID provided testimony at the NYC Department of City Planning scoping meeting held on January 9, 2023. Our input outlined support to all City agencies engaged in advancing this important project, and our interest in the sanitation and beautification conditions of a future Morris Park Plaza to be developed at the Morris Park Metro North Station (Morris Park Avenue intersection with Eastchester Road). MPBID highlighted the need for the plaza to me appropriately maintained - including sanitation, trash collection, green spaces and beautification efforts - for the plaza to become a welcoming entry point into the Morris Park commercial corridor. We thank NYCDCP for the opportunity to testify.
