Principal's Message
We had a great first week and we are so proud of our students for getting off to an incredible start this school year. Thank you to our returning students for welcoming our new friends and helping to support them as they navigate GOC's unique learning environment.

Grades 4 - 12
Students, please bring your lanyard with your schedule to campus. You will receive your ID badges and will need the lanyard to hold your badge. Your badge will be used to scan as you enter the building and leave for dismissal. It is VERY important to have your badge with you each time you are on campus.

IMPORTANT - Grades 4-12 - Campus Dismissal & Activities
Please make sure your student knows if they are staying for activities after labs or if they should come directly out for car rider line. It is important for all students who are being picked up from 12:35-1 p.m. to exit the building and participate in the dismissal process. This will ensure the line moves quickly.

Students should either be picked up at dismissal time (by 1 p.m.) or be involved in one of the activities after labs. Please make note of the end time for the activity. Students should be picked up within 20 minutes of the end of the activity.

If students are staying for an after lab activity, they will be asked to report to the auditorium during dismissal time. Students should bring a lunch and will be given the opportunity to eat in the auditorium, or hallway areas.

The Owls Nest Cafe is closed during the initial dismissal time so that students who are being picked up will not be delayed exiting the building. The cafe will open at 12:45 p.m. to accommodate students who are staying for after school activities.

GOC does not have areas for the supervision of students outside of the scheduled labs and activities. We appreciate your help in following the schedules.
