This Week at Temple Emanuel

Temple Emanuel 2022 Year-End Donor Statements

I will be emailing Tax Year 2022 Donor Statements in January, by request.  Please email me, or call me at the office 480.838.1414 ext. 14 to request your statement. Please indicate whether you would prefer to receive a paper copy in the mail, vs. an emailed version. I am happy to accommodate your request.

If you’d like to make an additional gift for the tax year ending December 31, 2022, please make your gift online, or provide a check to the office by Friday, December 30. As long as your check is dated and/or donation is postmarked no later than December 31, I will make sure it is included in your year-end statement.

Thank you for your support of our community in 2022. Your tax-deductible gifts are deeply appreciated.

In addition to monetary donations, we are able to accept donations of stock or vehicles (avoid the hassle of selling your used vehicle).

With gratitude,

Jocelyn Richards

Director of Finance

After using the "The Mussar Torah Commentary" this past year to excellent reviews, this year, we will be using "The Social Justice Commentary" as the lens through which we discuss each week's Torah portion.

Please Note: It is NOT necessary for you to purchase this book as we share the text on screen each week. However, if you would like to own your own copy, please click HERE to purchase your copy directly from the CCAR Press. (Please note that the book is also available digitally on Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play.)

So, grab a cup of coffee and join us ONLINE at 9:15am.

(Please Note: This is the same link we will use going forward for our weekly ONLINE Shabbat Morning Worship when we do not celebrate with a B'nai Mitzvah family.)

Motivated Jewish Women Leaders Wanted!

The Women's Leadership Institute is looking for its next East Valley cohort of women between the ages of 25-45 to begin learning this fall 2023. Participants are paired with inspiring mentors to help guide their experience. As a recent graduate of WLI, I can attest to the fact that you will learn so much about who you are as a leader and how to apply those skills to serving our Phoenix Jewish community. It's a very reasonable time commitment, a wonderful bonding experience, and helped me reconnect with why I am Jewish.

Program applications are now open for women through Jan. 31. Please don't wait! Contact me (Courtney Griggs) if you are interested at courtney@codedpen.com, and we can talk about whether you might be a good fit!
