ECUADOR INAUGURATION

B3 Board of Directors (Howard Greene and Liz Mauer) joined Executive Director, Amy Schroeder-Riggio and traveled to Ecuador to celebrate and inaugurate the projects that B3 worked on in February, March and April of 2023. A plaque was presented at each of the sites as a way to commemorate our collaboration and our time in the communities of Maicito and Tingo Pucara.

The Amanecer, Equipo Esperanza and Rock-It! teams worked with families in the community of Maicito to build 2 additional classrooms at Escuela de Rumiñahu, enabling more children to attend the local school rather than travel long distances, or not go to school at all.

The Odyssey and Estrellon teams worked with the community of Tingo Pucara to build tanks to hold and farm trout to provide better nutrition for families in the community.
