I am reaching out to invite you to join me in participating in Am Yisrael Chai: A Community Gathering in Solidarity with Israel on Tuesday evening, October 10 at Beth El Synagogue. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The program starts at 6:00 p.m.

As we continue to receive the devastating news of those killed, injured, or taken hostage in Israel, it is critical that we show our support for those directly affected. Our friends in Israel are grateful for our love and our prayers, which are not bound by time or by distance.

In addition to gathering in community to provide comfort to each other and to pray for a swift end to this devastating violence, I invite you to show your support for Israel through a gift to Minneapolis Jewish Federation’s Israel Emergency Fund.

May God spread the divine sheltering presence over the State of Israel and its people.
