Plan your path to PSD graduation


From health science to welding, fashion design to natural resource management, computer science to agriculture, there's a program for every student interest in PSD. The annual High School Planning Guide leads students and their families through the many programs and courses in PSD schools, including many that offer cost-free college credit and real world experience.

PSD Future Ready Center opens in mall


The Future Ready Center at Foothills celebrated its grand opening on Nov. 8 with staff, students, and supporters in attendance. The center will be a community hub for student learning and exploration, with peer tutoring, information nights and resource fairs, and information for anyone curious about PSD courses and pathways. Read more about student experiences with the Future Ready Center on the PSD website.>>

Students marked Veterans Day on Nov. 9 this year, their last school day before the official holiday. Registration begins after Fall Break


Online registration for the 2024-25 school year will begin Monday, Nov. 27, for all grades K-12. Whether you're coming back for another year, starting a new school, enrolling a new student, or applying for school choice, check out the important dates below. In addition, follow this link to the PSD website for open house information.>>


Nov. 27 - Online registration for the 2024-25 school year begins. (Register online through this link.) Registering early helps schools make decisions about school choice applications and staffing.


Dec. 6 - In-person registration help for incoming kindergarten students offered at PSD elementary schools. Find school hours on the PSD website.>>

Feeding hungry families this season


Each year during the last week of school before Fall Break, Poudre School District staff and families donate frozen turkeys, hams and chicken, along with other food items, to the Food Bank for Larimer County. This event, dubbed "Tour de Turkey," took place Nov. 16 this year at participating PSD schools and buildings. Visit the food bank website to learn more about donating.>>

Nov. 30, Dec. 13 info sessions to focus on school district funding, budgeting


Curious how the state determines the dollar amount each school district receives per year, where that money comes from, and why schools are not flush with marijuana tax-funded projects? Learn more about Colorado school finance and the PSD budget by attending an upcoming School Finance and PSD Budget Community Engagement meeting. RSVP to either information session below:

Each month, the Board of Education honors outstanding members of the PSD community for their accomplishments and reads resolutions in support of observances.
