Basilica Shrine Celebrates First Anniversary

Do you remember where you were one year ago? For all of us at the Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, April 29, 2023, was a day we will never forget, a day when our entire Miraculous Medal Family joined as one to celebrate our beloved Shrine's new designation as a Minor Basilica.

We recently marked the one-year anniversary of that blessed occasion by celebrating a special Solemnity Mass. Fr. John Kettelberger, CM, spiritual director of the Central Association of the Miraculous Medal, observed in his homily, "It is a day to stop and thank God for the many blessings that have been received here in this beautiful Basilica Shrine."

The joyous service also featured a special presentation to Deacon Alexander Palacios, CM, who is to be ordained a priest at the Basilica Shrine later this month. Click the link below to watch our broadcast of the service.

Children's Garden Blooms at Basilica Shrine

We were thrilled to welcome the students of Immaculate Heart of Mary School for a springtime Children's Garden planting. The Garden is a vital part of St. Vincent's Rosary Walk at the Basilica Shrine as it helps us engage youngsters and share with them Mary's message of love and hope. Join Us for Our Annual May Procession

The flowers are blooming at the Basilica Shrine which can mean only one thing: our annual May Procession is at hand. We invite you to join us on May 20 as we gather for a day of prayer, singing, and devotion to our Blessed Mother.

We will start at 11:15 a.m. (ET) by praying the Holy Rosary on St. Vincent's Rosary Walk, then proceed inside for the singing of hymns and the celebration of Mass at 12:05 p.m.
