Mercaris Organic Dairy Producers Milk Statement Survey

Mercaris is an organic and non-GMO commodity market data and trading company who WODPA is working with to create a monthly market analysis specifically on organic raw milk in the West. The purpose of this report is to allow paying WODPA Farmer Members to compare raw milk price per pound of Total Solids, etc. at the farmgate across the entire West. Our hope is that this can be used for farmer negotiations and regional understanding of costs and Net/Gross pay prices. One day, we hope to have enough interest and statements submitted to separate the details out by region. Signing a contract with Mercaris allows for all paying WODPA Farmer Members to gain exclusive access to Mercaris’ publications and resources as well as further WODPA Organic Dairy Producers Milk Statement Surveys. These two reports are examples of the exclusive information you can get if you pay in to the Western Organic Dairy Producers Alliance.

Organic Certification Cost Share Program (OCCSP)

OCCSP provides cost share assistance to producers and handlers of agricultural products who are obtaining or renewing their certification under the National Organic Program (NOP). Certified operations may receive up to 75 percent of their certification costs paid during the program year, not to exceed $750 per certification scope.
