Supporting Men's Wellness!

Our first Men's Wellness Workshop is in the books! Nature Worx, in partnership with the Lakeside Wellness Group and the Endorphin Project, created a space for men of diverse age groups to engage in open and honest conversations about the unique challenges they face in different phases of life.

Presenters shared their expertise and personal stories as they covered different aspects of wellness, including physical, mental, and spiritual. The gathering gave the men a chance to share their experiences, connect with one another, and gain valuable insights. Participants filled out a wellness assessment and created their own roadmaps to personal growth.

The success of the Men's Wellness event highlights the growing importance of addressing men's well-being and providing platforms for dialogue and support. We extend our gratitude to our participants and speakers, as well as to the Liriodendron Mansion in Bel Air for hosting! We can offer a wellness workshop to your organization. It's all about Wellness with MedStar!

Nature Worx was happy to participate for a second year in MedStar Good Samaritan's annual Wellness Fair. At Nature Worx, we believe in the incredible healing power of nature, and we enjoyed bringing some tranquility and rejuvenation to health care professionals in the midst of their busy day. Participants reported feeling grounded, peaceful and reenergized, and it was great to see their smiles afterwards!

Even a 5- or 10-minute pause can be enough to boost your mood and lower stress during the workday. If you feel like you're too busy and don't have time for that, it's likely a sign that you would greatly benefit from a brief nature break!

We'd like to extend our thanks to Good Samaritan for embracing our vision and giving us this opportunity! Together, we can create a more balanced and holistic approach to health care. Time spent in nature is good medicine!

Supporting Baltimore Police

Thanks to grant funding from M&T Bank, Nature Worx supports the Baltimore Police by offering free sessions to their officers and staff. A Nature Worx session can be a powerful antidote to the stress that comes with police work. We'll be at the Baltimore Police Wellness Fair at the Baltimore Convention Center on July 15th from 11:00 to 3:30.
