Dear Ellen,

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for each of you! It's because of your faithfulness in volunteering, praying, and giving that allows us to daily serve all who come through our doors. God is faithful as well to bring us a continued increase in clients who are in need of kindness, support and guidance as they deal with the very tough life circumstances that they face. We are thankful that we get to serve each one alongside of you! Thank you for making it possible to save babies from abortion and to share the gospel with those in need here in Louisville. Here are some ministry updates:

  • God is at work changing hearts in our pregnancy center. Read here about a mom who recently chose life for her baby.
  • Our Scramble For Life Silent Auction is now open! Click here to see all of the incredible items that are a part of the auction, which runs through next Tuesday, May 7th at noon.
  • It's coming up on Baby Bottle Campaign time! If your business, community group or church has not signed up to participate, it is not too late! Click here for details.
  • We are hiring a Fatherhood Champion/Decision Coach, a Counselor and a Childcare Helper. Click here for job details and to apply.

Praises:

  • That our Celebrate Recovery group on Thursday evenings has been well attended and well staffed with volunteers.
  • That our Pregnancy Center hours on Thursday evenings have been effective in reaching clients who are not able to come during the day.
  • For our new Volunteer Coordinator, Abbie.
  • For God's faithful provision of our ministry through our generous donors which enables us to provide services to clients at no cost.
  • For Child Evangelism Fellowship sharing the hope of Christ with our elementary aged children attending on Thursday evenings.
  • For our church partners who participate in our baby bottle campaign, send volunteers and financially support us.
  • That abortion remains illegal in Kentucky.

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray we would see more clients in 2024, and that more babies would be saved.
  • Pray our Scramble For Life on May 6th is a success, helping to sustain the ministry.
  • Pray for our Mobile Operations Manager, Bekah, as she serves on the Mobile Unit each week.
  • Pray the hearts and minds of our clients would be open to hearing the gospel and that they would make decisions for Christ.
  • Pray for our Executive Director, Monica, and our Board of Directors as they guide and direct BsideU this year, and for Monica's sabbatical this summer.
  • Pray more fathers would come to pregnancy test and ultrasound appointments and that they would be open to talking with our men's ministry advocates.
  • Pray God would fill our staffing needs providing a Fatherhood Champion, a Counselor and a Childcare Helper.

Thank you for your faithful support of BsideU for Life! We are grateful for you.

Sincerely,
