Popular items include personal creations such as jewelry and culinary specialties, social experiences like wine tasting events and group dinners, sports and theater tickets, luxury home items and much more! If you would like to donate, please contact Mary Deley at mary_deley@yahoo.com. We are happy to coordinate, pick up and provide you with a tax-deductible donation statement.

News Flash from Mary Deley, Silent Auction Chair:

Special Auction Item on Opening Night - South African Safari Package! This is a once-in-a-lifetime trip to experience the beauty and majesty of an African Safari! Six unforgettable days and nights for two people in a private game reserve where animals roam freely in Southern Maputaland, South Africa. Stay at your choice of either the elegant Zulu Nyala Heritage Hotel or Hemingway-style tents, both offering the finest in comfort and hospitality. Three meals per day prepared by African chefs (including vegan and vegetarian options), and two game-viewing experiences per day guided by professional game rangers. Several of our parishioners have taken this trip and are happy to talk to you about their amazing experience! If you would like to see more check out the website at www.zulunyala.co.za. Airfare and transfers not included. Minimum bid is $3500.

There’s still time for parishioners to think about placing an ad – from business card size to a full page in the Antiques Show Program. For ad rates and questions, email Karin Petersen at lapdogdesigns@cox.net or Wendy Pratt at wpratt@earthlink.net. You can also pick up ad materials on the front desk in the Parish office.

Please note that opening night invitations will be handed out this coming Sunday, May 5th after both services. We will also have a table to take opening night reservations and to sign up volunteers to help during this four-day parish-led event.

Thank you to all who helped us stuff, label and stamp invitations and yellow discount cards last Sunday! We really appreciate your ongoing help and support for our 53rd Annual Palos Verdes Antiques Show & Sale.

Pentecost is now the seventh Sunday after Easter. As part of our Pentecost worship on Sunday, May 19, we will have Prayers of the People read in multiple languages. If you speak a language other than English, please contact Fr. Jason at jason.shelby@stfrancispalosverdes.org or 310-594-7984. We have a role for you!
