The last of this year's Potpourri Services is this Sunday which also includes a celebration of New Members! Join us for this unique opportunity to welcome members and to discover and discuss a variety of topics.

Sunday, May 5th will be our next New Member Sunday. On New Member Sunday those who would like to become members of the congregation are invited to participate in a ceremony during the 10 am worship service during which participants sign the membership book and are welcomed formally by the congregation.

Welcome to Potpourri Sunday and Religious Exploration! This Sunday, May 5th at 10am, we invite all ages to gather in Fellowship Hall for a special intergenerational RE class. Robin will focus on our month's theme of pluralism with a story and activities which will be engaging and meaningful for all ages.

The Greendale Ecumenical Group is holding its Spring Study series which will explore the work of Richard Rohr and his book "Falling Upward". The series will be online at 7 pm on Tuesday evenings beginning April 16 and run for 5 weeks.

This Saturday, May 4th! You're invited to a gathering of the families of our youngest ones for a short Saturday morning meet-up from 10-11am. We are happy that many of our young families are joining in this Saturday! Please join and bring friends!

Worship at UUCW is the product of many voices, hands and hearts. Each Sunday we look forward to hearing from each other about the important happenings in our lives and the world, and our worship experience is made rich and meaningful because of the variety of voices included in it.

Please join us this Wednesday, May 1st for Kindred Conversations in the church lounge from 10:30-noon. We will be discussing the month's theme of pluralism.

SAVE THE DATE - FERRY BEACH SEPTEMBER 13-15, 2024 Many of us begin the church year with a weekend of retreat, reunion, and reflection at Ferry Beach in Saco, Maine (http://www.ferrybeach.org). This event combines folks from UUCW with folks from First U for a truly Worcester weekend in Maine.

Sign Up to be a Host at IHN UUCW is hosting at the In The Hour of Need (IHN) family shelter the week of May 5 through May 11. IHN works in partnership with the faith community to provide shelter and assistance to families with children who are homeless.

Spring is here and soon we will be planting. And weeding! We can use your help. Watch for our notice listing dates!

One of our favorite and our most lucrative fundraiser will soon be up on us. The 2024 Yard Sale will be held the first weekend in June. And, it takes a village so we are hoping that many of you will step up to volunteer.

On Saint Patrick's Day, Rev. Payson introduced the congregation to a Spring Gnome gifted to him by Dot Woodcock from Elder Services Worcester. This popular little friend currently goes without a name and we want to correct that ASAP! So we are sponsoring a contest to NAME OUR GNOME!

A UUCW group has recently formed to discuss issues of racism within our community, our country and abroad. We would love to have you join us on this journey. This group meets, live or online, at 10:00 AM every other Friday (see church calendar HERE for exact dates).

Join us for our monthly Lunch with the Minister on Wednesday May 8 at noon. Bring your lunch and enjoy a casual visit and conversation with Aaron and other UU friends in Fellowship Hall. Beverages and place settings are provided. Everyone is welcome to drop in.

The Women's Social Circle meets twice a month on Saturday morning for lively, casual conversation and connection. It's a great way to get to know the other wonderful women in this congregation and community. You are welcome to bring your child/children if you need to.

The UUCW Knitting Group does not discriminate!!! Our fiber group has been meeting for approximately 6 months and has grown in scope. We now have experienced knitters, crocheters and cross-stitchers in our group. We are changing our name! We don't discriminate based on thread of choice!

The book group meets again on Wednesday, May 8th at 7 PM in Fellowship Hall. We will discuss Nevada Barr's "What Rose Forgot." 68-year old Rose wakes up in a nursing home memory unit. She overhears someone say "she's not making it through the week." How did she get there and how can she survive?

Office Hours: Office Hours are Monday and Wednesday 9 am - 3 pm; Thursday 9 am - 2 pm. Jen works from home on Tuesdays from 9 am - 3 pm to accommodate office access needs for other staff and volunteers.
