REPAIR ITEMS TO REDUCE WASTE

We are partnering with LB Reuses, Algalita, and the Long Beach Time Exchange to bring Fix It Clinics to Long Beach!

Learn how to repair an item alongside a volunteer fixer in attempt to give your item a new life and keep waste out of the landfill! Attending a fixit clinic is a great way to maximize resources, save money, practice better consumer habits, and meet fellow community members.

Items that can be brought to a Fix It Clinic:

  • Lamps
  • Clothes
  • Toys
  • Bicycles
  • Watches/clocks
  • Jewelry
  • Electronics
  • Small appliances

Do you have a household item laying around that needs to be fixed but you don't know where to start? Attend an upcoming fixit clinic!

Are you a tinkerer, a mender, or do you like to problem-solve? Become a volunteer fixer! Attempt to fix alongside fellow community members to bring new life to items!
