Hello Erin,
It is a busy time in Cambodia! Like here in the States, the students in Cambodia are getting ready to go on a 2-month summer break. In September, our school will begin its SIXTH school year! The students who started taking classes at our school are now getting ready to enter the sixth and seventh grades at the local public school. Sam and I marvel at how Mission 25 has reached hundreds of students through education. God has opened different doors, and we are so thankful we have been able to walk through them because of your support.
- Through our daily k-2 classes and the tutoring programs Kong Kea and Pheak have run, Mission 25 has seen over 400 students attend our school over the last five years. These teachers have remained faithful and steadfast to the kids in this community.
- Mission 25 has been sponsoring the dormitory program for over four years now. We have had over 100 university students staying at our dorms, and we are so thankful. We have had the opportunity to impact future doctors, teachers, bankers, and politicians through this program. Pastor Bora and his wife Lisa have poured so much into these students, and we know that the future of Cambodia is brighter for it!
- Mission 25 has sponsored the school fees for three deserving students! Our current students are Nita (11th grade) and Sokchea (7th grade). They live in Phnom Penh, and their families are part of the dorms.
- We have sponsored school supplies, curriculum, desks, chairs, and computers. Mission 25 recently sponsored two bikes for students who went to our school and are now getting ready to enter the 5th and 7th grades at the local public school.
