| | It all starts with 55 layers of croissant dough. These layers are made by folding the dough over and over with alternating butter and dough layers, and when baked, they create the classic 'honeycomb' structure surrounded by a perfectly baked flaky outside. Each croissant is hand cut and hand rolled with precision. The process from start to final product takes two days to complete. We offer classic and chocolate croissants, and from our classic croissant base, we offer a twice baked almond. Along side those we have our seasonally flavored Danish and the oh-so-yummy Morning Bun. Newer to our laminated pastries is Kouign Amann. Pronounced kween uh·man, in the Breton language, translates to butter cake. It's like a croissant.... but BETTER! It tastes caramelized with a salty edge and has a texture that starts out crisp and finishes delicate and soft in your mouth. We've also taken Kouign Amann to the next level and filled it with to-die-for-vanilla-bean-pastry-cream. Give yourself a treat this week with one (or all!) of our laminated pastries.
